HP Eder, an Austrian, inherited his father's passion for distilling. He distilled fine alcohol. Padre Azul was created after Eder and his team partnered with his father-in-law who is Mexican and another group of illustrious master distillers from Jalisco, Mexico.
Although Padre Azul's conception originated in Austria, Mexico has long been the country of manufacturing. The father-in-law of the founder was instrumental in the development of the brand. He offered him the chance to create his Tequila at a little distillery close to the well-known Tequila hamlet.
As of right now, Padre Azul surpasses the standards and quality standards that are relevant to Mexican tequila.
The bottle was also influenced by the rich history and culture of Mexico.
100% blue agaves are used to make Pure Agave Padre Azul. The state of Jalisco is where this unique fruit is grown. It is believed that the superior blue agave is best suited for the creation of premium tequila. Before it is ready for further processing, the hand-picked fruit needs at least eight years to reach maturity.
The name of this expensive drink Azul is also agave. Based on the blue Weber Agave, "Azul" The word "padre" is derived from a well-known Mexican proverb that meaning "how magnificent" or "how fantastic," respectively.
A handmade only
The harvesting of the used agaves marks the beginning of the laborious labor. These are manually gathered and chosen. Washing is still carried out by hand.
Traditional brick ovens are used to "cook" Padre Azul. These are made of volcanic sand and soil, which gives them the best chance of withstanding the high temperatures and preventing the escape of the steam produced during the process of cooking.
Both the bottle and the tequila are created by hand. The 270 gram hefty skull that adorns the lid majestically is hand-processed, and the bottle is mouth-blown.
